We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Buyer.
 

POSITION OVERVIEW :

• Assist buyers and purchasing managers with daily procurement activities;

• Create and process purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies;

• Monitor inventory levels and help prevent shortages or overstock situations;

• Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and order status;

• Track shipments and resolving delivery or quality issues;

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases;

• Compare vendor quotes and help negotiate pricing when needed;

• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF :

• High school diploma required; diploma or degree in business, supply chain, or procurement preferred;

• 1–2 years of purchasing, inventory, or administrative experience is an asset;

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred;

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems;

• Strong organizational and communication skills;

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
