We are currently looking for a Mobile Equipment Mechanic or Welder to join our embedded staffing team!

POSITION OVERVIEW :
  • Perform preventive maintenance and develop maintenance procedures for all equipment;

  • Check, inspect, and maintain light mobile equipment at the customer's site;

  • Diagnose problems and determine the nature of surface or underground equipment according to customer needs;

  • Prepare a complete repair report identifying the cause of the breakdowns and problems encountered;

  • Adjust, repair, and/or replace defective parts;

  • Test repaired equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly and that repairs meet requirements;

  • Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine how to proceed;

  • Comply with all safety standards and pay particular attention to the processes and quality and operational standards of our mining partner.

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF :
  • Heavy Equipment technician diploma or equivalent practical experience;

  • Experience Required : Minimum 3 years as licensed tradesperson in the mining industry;

  • Cerified Welder;

  • Bilingual (English and French);

  • Good physical condition;

  • Organised and autonomous;

  • Attention to detail;

  • REDSEAL (an asset);

  • CWB certification.
