We are currently looking for a Light Duty Mechanics to join our embedded staffing team!

JOB DESCRIPTION

UN OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATE :

• Corrective & Preventive maintenance of the equipment fleet, including but not limited to telehandlers, arial work platforms, skid steers, scissor lifts, tractors, Land Cruisers;

• Diagnose and repair equipment at the worksite;

• Complete a full repair report by identifying the root cause of the issues encountered;

• Adjust, repair, and/or replace defective parts;

• Test the repaired equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and that the repairs meet required standards;

• Read plans, diagrams, and schematics to determine the appropriate course of action;

• Comply with all safety standards and pay close attention to processes as well as the quality and operational standards of our mining partner;

• Ensure that the worksite is always clean and safe.

GENERAL SKILLS

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF :

• Vocational diploma in Mechanics;

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position; 

• Arial work platform, telehandler, forklift competence card;

• Valid driver license;

• Redseal (an asset);

• Bilingual (English and French);

• Good physical condition;

• Organised and autonomous;

• Attention to detail.
