We are currently looking for a heavy equipment mechanic.
JOB DESCRIPTION
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
- Repair, maintain, and refurbish heavy equipment;
- Diagnose equipment problems by determining the nature of the defects and the extent of repairs required;
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts;
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation.
GENERAL SKILLS
YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF:
- You have a diploma in heavy equipment mechanics or automotive mechanics with relevant work experience;
- You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions;
- You have an explosives license and your mining modules;
- You have excellent knowledge of hydraulics and electricity;
- You are meticulous, curious, and independent, with strong observational skills and a good team spirit.
