We are currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our Mining Equip division!

POSITION OVERVIEW:

• Repairing, maintaining, and refurbishing heavy equipment;

• Diagnosing equipment problems by determining the nature of defects and the extent of necessary repairs;

• Adjusting, repairing, or replacing defective parts;

• Testing repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality.

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF:

• You hold a DEP (Vocational Diploma) in Heavy Equipment Mechanics or Automotive Mechanics, combined with relevant work experience;

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in similar positions;

• You hold a Mining Worker Modular card and a valid General explosives permit;

• You possess strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems;

• You are detail-oriented, curious, self-motivated, and possess strong observation skills and a team-oriented mindset.
