We are currently looking for a Health and Safety Advisor.
 

UN OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATE :

• Support managers and supervisors in the day‑to‑day management of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and in the application of regulatory requirements in Québec and Ontario
• Ensure compliance of operations with applicable occupational health and safety laws and regulations
• Develop, update, and monitor OHS programs, procedures, and management tools
• Plan and implement accident and occupational disease prevention activities
• Conduct field audits and inspections and ensure follow‑up on corrective actions
• Conduct accident and incident investigations and analyses, identify root causes, and implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions
• Coordinate OHS and technical training related to the operation of regulated equipment
• Manage OHS qualifications and compliance within client qualification platforms
• Act in an active advisory role with the Health and Safety Committee
• Provide field coaching to support supervisors’ OHS leadership and promote safe work behaviors
• Perform any other related duties relevant to the position

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF :

• Strong ability to work with Microsoft Office suite tools.
• Ability to work with computerized Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management systems.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety laws and regulations applicable in Québec and Ontario.
• Strong knowledge of OHS trends, best practices, and industry standards.
• Fully bilingual, both written and spoken, in French and English.
