Accounts Payable Clerk

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk.
 

JOB DESCRIPTION

UN OVERVIEW OF THE MANDATE :

• Reconcile accrued expenses;

• Reconcile vendor statements, verify transactions, prepare cheques, and forward them to authorized signatories;

• Process supplier invoice payments;

• Take the necessary steps to obtain missing invoices, process them, and ensure payment;

• Respond to supplier inquiries regarding payment status (phone and email);

• Follow up on credit requests with suppliers;

• Conduct invoice research when documentation is required;

• File supplier invoices at month-end.
   

YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF YOU HAVE :

• A vocational diploma (DEP) in Accounting, a college diploma (DEC) in Administration, or equivalent experience;

• Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience;

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working with an accounting management system;

• Excellent command of French and working knowledge of English;

• A methodical approach and strong attention to detail;

• Strong analytical skills.
